| Description: | Orthema is the next generation of soft, full length CAD/CAM foot orthotic fabrication, now available in Australia and New Zealand. These systems are Swiss/German engineered and manufactured to the highest possible standard, and represent cutting edge innovation and design. These custom orthotics are precision designed from a fast and efficient true 3D total contact digital scan of the foot, and any further prescriptive details are added via the advanced software. A large array of prescriptive options are available within the software and can be customised to suit each clinicians individual style, biomechanical preferences or patients symptomology. The final orthotic device is milled via a range of industry leading Orthema CNC milling machines, capable of milling up to a pair of othotics at once. These orthotics are highly effective in treating the full range of podiatric conditions including heel pain, flat feet, lower back pain and postural complaints, sports injuries and other orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and rheumatological disorders. Orthema offers a large range of milling blocks including single density, dual-density and exclusive tri-density in a range of hardness from 20 shore hardness up to 50 shore hardness. A pair of custom orthotics can be milled within 15 minutes of completing the foot scan, making Orthema an ideal system for individual clinicians and group practices alike. The system is ideal for podiatrists, orthotists, hospitals, orthopaedic and sports medicine clinics and other disciplines treating the foot and lower limb. | |||
