| Description: | FUNKarchitects are an architectural practice operated by Jeremy Ham, a Jan Juc local since 1995. Jeremy has been a registered architect since 1997, working for leading architects on projects as diverse as the national award winning Deakin Waterfront Campus and Torquay’s Quiksilver Headquarters. When forming FUNKarchitects in June 2006, his aim was to establish a design practice that offered an alternative to the conservative nature of the architectural establishment. The practice is underpinned by a desire to innovate in architectural design through the modulation of form, space, materials and methods. We aim to work with clients to further the agenda of culturally and climatically appropriate buildings that respond to the unique context of the SurfCoast. FUNKarchitects are not limited to a particular pre-determined ideology or style, but develop carefully considered responses tailored to the specific requirements of the most important people involved in the process- the client.
