Once the symptoms start to diminish, exercises are gradually introduced to restore muscle flexibility, strength and control. Muscle stimulation is also used to increase propioception and to activate inhibited muscles. Treatmnet od CHRONIC PAIN: This type of pain can be due to various forms of mechanical strain such as : ARTHRITIS ; BURSITIS; DISC DEGENERATION; SACROILIAC DYSFUNCTION; LUMBOSACRAL INSTABILITY; SPONDYLOSIS and OTHERS. Mechanical strain in these conditions is the result of one or more of the following: ¨ Abnormal stress upon a normal structure ¨ Normal stress upon an abnormal structure ¨ Normal stress upon a normal structure that is not prepared to receive the stress. These conditions commonly lead to a loss of mobility of the joints and muscles of the limbs and spine. The loss of mobility results in the loss of the normal lubricating mechanism AFFECTING THE NUTRITION of the articular and muscular soft tissues.
